Anyone have any experience with this item? Looks pretty good and the price isn't crazy either.

Also known as a Santa Maria style attachment.

Lots of guys use those on a Facebook group I'm in called Weber Kettleheadz. Seems like a cool idea, cooking over a wood fire.

The base sits tight to the lip of the kettle so it is pretty sturdy

Think lots of folks in California use these and just keep them on a dedicated kettle. No clue how they store it, guess it doesn’t rain much there and no snow.
I wouldn’t get one, looks neat though.
