Anyone see Steve Raichlen's article in the NY Times yesterday? Almost makes me re-think my preferred cooking method (frying).

Probably the funniest thing about the article is the bit about indoor smoking -- mainly made me laugh at myself, since I tried it when I was in a little NYC apartment with no outdoor space. Good way to find out that your fire extinguisher works!

someone at work today came in so upset cuz they saw the article however they forgot to bring it in to show me......i was like smokin in the house....um....perhaps with special equipment with special blowers and what not.....your link doesnt take me to the article... can you find the specific link..or how to find the article...thanks

oh and now she wants me to smoke her a turkey next week.....

"Smoking in the house" basically involves roasting using a sealed pan with sawdust or wood chips in the bottom.

Having tried it, I'm glad I have a WSM.
