Time to recycle kettle?

Howdy -

I think my 25-year-old kettle might be done for. Moving the kettle the other day and one of the legs fell out. Investigated, and noticed two of the leg sockets are detached from the kettle body due to corrosion. Worth getting someone to tack weld, or JB Welding it myself? Or is it time to get a new Weber?

Spot welds rusted out. Hard to tell if the metal is still sound enough to use a small nut/bolt/ washer or a self tapping screw.
How's the metal around the daisy vents?

Daisy vents are o.k. Replaced one years ago which has always had quite a big gap between kettle and the vent wheel.

Planter isn't a bad idea, but I don't think it's the aesthetic the Missus is looking for.

All good things must come to an end!

25 years is a good run for a kettle, especially if it's lived in a humid environment and/or not kept clean and covered. I'm sure you'd appreciate an updated model. The old one doesn't owe you anything after that amount of time.
