I am trying to find a good probe thermo that will hold up to BBQ. My wireless Nu temps are/were wonderful. 2 of the 3 original probes lasted 4 years. The other is still going stong. I ordered 4 replacements earlier this year, and they didn't last but a couple cooks. The meters have been backordered for a long time and I have had no responses to emails, and they didn't answer to the phone today. I am wondering how much longer they will be around.
I am looking at the Thermoworks TW362B. They have replacement probes for $8 and hopefully they will work with my Nu temps. I tried a couple different probes from my Uncle's, and neither worked with my Nu temps.
I also started checking around the thermoworks website and I would love to peice together a great thermocouple system, with datalogging. That's down the road though, as that gets expensive quick.
I am getting to the point where I can't read Amazon's reviews, there always seems to only be people bashing products or the sellers, and not giving actual reviews. Everyone on this forum is always open and honest.
Thanks!
