ThermoPop is good for the price. Compared to Thermapen Mk4:

• ThermoPop is slower to register temp.
• ThermoPop is less accurate.
• ThermoPop is less water resistant.
• You have to activate the backlight on ThermoPop, it's automatic on Thermapen.
• ThermoPop is less water resistant than Thermapen.
• ThermoPop has longer battery life.
• ThermoPop has buttons, Thermapen does not.
• ThermoPop goes to sleep after 10 minutes, Thermapen sleeps and wakes based on motion.
• ThermoPop does not include calibration certificate; Thermapen includes NIST-Traceable calibration certificate.

Great comparison!! Thanks!!! I really want mk4 but just cant afford it right now. Ive been looking for a craigslist deal but never see them. Guess ill just have to be patient. Thanks for your reply Chris!!
