I have to say I'm done with ThermoWorks products. I had five of the extra big and loud timers. The first two didn't last two years and the next two are dying at about the same age. I've got two cheap little kitchen timers that are over 25 years old and still work fine,
My smoke has gone through three probes in two years also and now one of the channels is acting weird and it's been used only about 10-15 times. The thermo pops are the only ThermoWorks products I have that still are working fine after 3-4 years.
For what they want for their products the quality sure doesn't seem to be there and I do take very good care of all of them.

I understand the timer frustration, I had to have a “Big, Loud” one replaced after a month. This one seems fine, great customer service as well! Their spatulas are far superior to anything else I’ve used but, that’s a different story. I had a “Maverick” multiple timer for ten years, then I knocked it into the dish filled sink and it drowned! Ordered a replacement, worked a total of ONE cook, returned. Replacement lasted a week, why are these things so prone to failure? It’s pretty basic electronic design isn’t it?
