Probably as low a price as you will see for one of these besides USED. But, from experience, you likely wouldn't be able to tell the difference from NEW and these come with a full warranty. Likely, these are just units that were returned for whatever reason and they are fully tested before being recertified. I would easily pay $30 less for these.

That is a great price, if I just did get a new BBQ tool this week and my themopro wasn't working so while for me I would make the upgrade.

I picked one up a few weeks ago on an open box sale for about the same price. Came in a sealed box and still had the battery protect slip in the transmitter and receiver, looked brand new to me.
It's a great deal.
