They don't get a huge amount of use but they are handy when using smaller pots or getting the last of the jam out of the jar. For $6 it's hard to go wrong.
Their silicone trivets are very nice too. They've had those on sale at deep discounts before (though not at the moment from what I could see). The trivets are a waffle mold with a continuous sheet of silicone through the middle. This gets the pot about a quarter inch off the table so even if it's a lot bigger than the trivet you're still in no danger of damage.
