Yeah, Rich, I got the same result trying it out. I bet if you contacted ThermoPro today they will do something to fix that. I am tempted, too, but I already have too many electronics and thermometers.

I believe they sell only through Amazon. Bruce had an issue with a purchase he wanted to make, and they fixed it fir him so he got the low price.
