Had my first cook wit my new 22.5 WSM and it worked flawlessly but my thermometer is fogged up. Will this clear up when the weather warms up or will it always be like that. Has anyone else experianced this and is there a solution without getting a new one.Unit is only 1 week old what is webers warranty like.

Yea they do fog up. The Weber one from what I read is supposed to have a weep hole which is supposed to let moisture escape. I have a Tel-Tru which is hermetically sealed and that fogs up all the time if left out in the cold.
I guess the only way to counter that is to remove it and keep it indoors?

yes, they will fog up and no it's no big deal. get your self a maverick et-732 and you won't need to look at the temp therm on the lid anyway.

The thermometer in my WSM was also fogging up, then it started to stick both on the way up and on the way down. I called Weber and they've sent me a new one.
