Testing out a different pizza cooking method

I made an extension for my JJ while on vacation a couple weeks ago to make it a better smoker plus a Dedicated pizza cooker. I'm just to cheap to buy the real deal kettle pizza.

Here's the first one I did on this contraption. Bottom of the crust was perfect but needed more heat on top. It was delicious nonetheless.


And here's tonight. I think I know what I need to do to modify my extension contraption to make it cook pizza the way I want it to.

Lookin good Nate, Just needs a little more heat coming down from the top and you should be good to go. If you ever want to borrow my Kettle Pizza for a weekend to compare let me know.
