Have about a 6.5 lb butt on top and about a 11lb brisket on bottom for an overnite cook. What temps (hi/lo) should I set the maverick 73 for smoker temps? Thanks for any help you can give, this is my first overnite.

I usually set the HIGH for 275 or 300, and the LOW to 200.

P.S. I'm jealous. Sounds like you have a good thing going.
 
Frank, thanks for the information. This is my first overnite and my wife says I am getting too anal about this "smoking thing", but I want this first one to be a success. Thanks again

I got my WSM last December and did my first overnighter January 3rd, 14 degrees with a light snow falling. You think your wife thinks you are anal, you should have heard mine that night. I cooked two pork butts and after dinner the next day and eating that great pulled pork, she never said another word whenever I wanted to do an overnighter. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
