The Saints played Sunday in the first preseason game!
My friend Maggie who owns a bar & grill often has outside tailgates for the Saints games with food beer & a outside big screen on her bars patio.
I volunteered to cook 2 butts for the tailgate on site for the first game.
She called last nite , she got beer & butts volunteered & is going to charge $10 for plate & a beer & proceeds are going to Raise our Pints. ( a local home brewing lobby group)
I got to cook 8 butts (72 lbs of meat)
Well you can cook 2 butts on mini tailgate , but not eight!
New plan cooking 6 in big cooker & 2 in mini.
The fundraiser was a plate of pork & a pint of Naked Pig ale for $10 ended up with about 50-60 people.
