Sweet Tea Brined Wings with Homemade Cornbread

I saw this recipe for sweet tea brined chicken the other day so decided to use it with 5 pounds of wings.
Wings were marinated for 48 hours (due to storms) then onto the rib-o-lator with some peach wood.

I also had the smoker and the OTG going. Both were smoking some homemade
bacon. Pictures will be posted later in the Charcuterie forum.

While the wings were cooking my wife put together a recipe that I saw on Ballistic BBQ the other day
called Porky, Bacony Cornbread Goodness. It was done in the oven this time, but will do on the grill
the next time we make it. Cornbread is out of the oven.

Seems like my son Michael is anxious for dinner and he likes what he sees! :D

Simple and quick meal that was very delicious. Wings had great flavor and the cornbread was out of this world.

Thanks for looking!

Love the pic of the three grills going at once. Q is a lifestyle choice isn't it? Chicken looks heavenly. Cheers!

Those wings and cornbread look awesome, Mike! Great job and great photos.

Your son seems pretty happy with the cook!:)

Mighty Fine Cook and pic's Mike! I do wish I could find some good Peach wood. Of course you live in the Peach Capitol of the USA. That's a Great Weber collection too! Fantastic post Sir!

Fantastic Mike! What's that thing between your Performer and WSM?

Jon that's an outdoor sink that I had with my old gasser. I need to get a new hose to run water to it, but for now it is my tool holder. Also finally got the bacon done and it is posted on the other forum.

EXCELLENT Flappers Mike!

Looks like Son Michael is ready to eet them all:D and I wouldn't blame him if he did!

Dang Mike, you're smoking the place up, in a good way!
I'm with Mike JR, 2 thumbs way up on your cook and photos!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. :) Gary you got it Q is definitely a great lifestyle!
Clark and Don the wings had a slight sweet lemony flavor to them. May have been the lemon or
the sweet tea, not sure, but I know they were neither too sweet or too lemony, just delicious.
