Sunday Spare Ribs

Woke up this morning and saw the good Lord blessed us with a little more snow

I was determined not to let old man winter get me down. Once again shoveled the sidewalks and driveway and most important the outdoor kitchen.

Here's Kim applying our home made rub to a rack of spare ribs. Great price on the ribs. $5.86 for this rack.

Set up the grill with some apple wood and mini minion for a long cook.

You know it's been a long cold winter when you see this and think its a nice day and you should grill.

Put the ribs on the grill

No peek for 3.5 hours. Added some home made BBQ sauce.

Taken off the grill after about 4.25 hours

Plated ribs and beans.

Simple meal. The ribs and beans were perfect. Kids loved it. Thanks for looking!

Ribs n beans look great ! We got an inch of fluffy snow last night. Sun is out nice n bright , but it's about 20 degrees.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. Snowed a little more today but get this - tomorrow is predicted to be 40 with a chance of rain. Crazy!

Yes, winter has beaten us down to think that a -10* C day is "nice". I am also tired of constantly having to shovel off my deck to get to my barbecue.
