Dwain: " What was in the hot tub? Straight BBQ sauce or a super secret mixture? " - I dont hold any secrets that i wouldn´t share with you guys/gals. It was just a blend of commercial sauces to clear up some fridge space.(almost empty bottles..memory fades) And i added some secret tap water to increase the volume and thin it out. If you have a favorite sauce use that.(go for the cheap ones if you use a bottle) Be sure to have it pre heated though.

Cant even remember what rub i used on the wings. But i guess salt/pepper will be just as good as any rub...Since you will wash em in sauce. This was a tip from Jeff Biesinger. So all cred goes to him.

Good luck and report back!(Oh and check em a few times during the last step so you get the color you want)

I can tell you what i did after this post. I marinated the chicken wings in Italian Dressing overnight. Then i followed Wolgast's instructions for cooking. I used open pit and water for the bath. Really Best wings i have ever made at home.
