Sticky Chicky and Stonehenge Potatoes

Brined whole cut up chicken, rinsed, dried, and dusted with Penzey's salt free Forward!
Sliced reds dusted with Penzey's 4S salt seasoning.
Veggie juice with spices, etc, and vodka.

About 40 minutes later the spuds were ready for the warm oven, bird about to get basted over the coals.

Sauce was a mix of Speed Queen (thanks Jim Lampe!) and Bandana's Sweet and Smoky (thanks me!)

Everything was 2 thumbs up.
I used to make my chicken like this all the time, but it's been a few years.
When I looked at my cook grate this morning, I think I remember why it's been awhile.

The flashlight is a Stanley and can be used handheld or with the tripod. Amazon has it for about $12.50.

And thanks for your suggestions for my next project, but my plans are to make the St Louis Arch out of bacon
