By using Phil Hartcher's advice on cooking steaks on the Weber Q, I made a dinner using nothing but the Q. 2 thick NY Strip steaks, green beans (garlic, salt, pepper) in a foil pack, and grilled bread with butter. The kids (3 year old and 4.5 year old) devoured the steak which is quite rare for them. BTW: you can sear steaks on the 220.

Method
------------------------
- While grill is preheating on high for 10-15 minutes
- Rub Steak with Salt and Pepper
- Put steaks on grill and turn-down gas by 2 1/2 marks (my temp was about 410)
- Grill steak for 2 minutes
- Rotate and grill for 2 more minutes to get those gorgeous cross-marks
- Flip and grill for 4 minutes
- Perfect medium-rare
- For the grean beans put on after the first 2 minutes and take off 2 minutes are the steak is off the grill
