Started playing with Coleman things...

Looks great! Have you ever tried JB weld metal paste to fill in rust holes? I've used it on my Genesis 1000 frames before with pretty good results. I also used it to rebuild a rusted away corner of a drip tray and it looked really good after I painted it.

I have a 30-year-old Coleman propane stove. The lid looked a little rusty from sitting outside at camp all summer. I popped it with some green Rustoleum that I had in the garage. Now it looks goofy.

While I was growing up during the '60s, my Dad had a propane Coleman lantern and two burner propane stove.
There was also a Coleman cooler ("ice chest") and a Coleman water jug, much like the ones Josh showed in his post above.
I have always been impressed by the quality of those Coleman products; as others have said, built to last.

I just watched some of his videos that were posted in the last few days. When did he pass?
I thought he passed a couple years ago, I know he was battling a spinal disease. Maybe I’m wrong, I hope so. His Pepper Stout Beef was one of the first things I tried many years ago.

I know he's got some serious health issues and his wife left him but he's still making videos on YouTube.

Never thought of that, may do it next time! Thanks for the good idea

I have done a few custom paint jobs on appliances and I have used this on metal to fill dents and deep scratches. It sands out nice after it dries.20241020_155821~2.jpg
