I was looking at a parts list online and I seen a part listed as a match holder ?, did these come with the ss performers ? any got one or a picture of one ?

Lee, yes mine has it. Never have used it. It is a long piece of stainless rod that has a hook on the end to hold a lit match. I think it's on the underside of the charcoal lid.

oh ok I found it, it was under the grill when I got it home with some other stuff I just thought it was a piece of wire , can't believe it was still there after all this time, thanks !!!!

My Craigslist SS Performer came with one but I had no idea what it was until right now.

All these years I was using the match holder wire to lift up the hinged portion of the grate to add more coals. I had no idea it was intended to hold a match until now.
