SRF wagyu vs Creekstone prime? For brisket...

In one sense, I'm undeserving of either given how badly I screwed my last brisket. On the other hand I was staring down the barrel of an employment calamity & was able to land something & get a sweet severance check.

I'm pretty certain I know what went wrong on my last brisket (a probe getting knocked when I was closing the lid).

I want to treat myself. Anyone have opinions on these two options? Can you describe the specimen you received from either?

I can only comment on the creekstone farms prime which I've cooked a few of. They are fantastic. I've gotta believe a waygu is a step above that, though. I'd love to try one. We have a local butcher that carries the creeks tone at 4.99 a pound but in general I can't afford to cook them very often

IMO the Costco prime is as good as the Creekstone and much cheaper. The SRF has a different flavor and mouth feel and is worth experiencing at least once. There is a reason so many of the top competition cooks use it.
