It did indeed go around in circles, thankfully did not fly too high, stayed contained in the kettle! Until it hit plates!

The corn, direct high on the Genny ten minutes then shut down while the chicken was carved. Sorry, we were all tired and hungry so, I missed the beautiful brace of chickens on the spit.
