Something completely different - pork burgers

Wanted to try something different. Made burgers with ground pork. Sorry bout the ‘no pics’.

Wonderful. Not as strong as a burger. Ground the pork myself and then cooked them on the flattop (Genesis II w griddle insert). Got a great crust.

94 huh? Boy have I been asleep at the grill. Hehe

Mark, don't know when we will get around to it, but the next time Dh grinds some pork for burgers, he is going to add some pork belly that we have had in the freezer for some time now. I THINK that should make a good burger.

That sounds good. For ground pork, I routinely have a fat content of 30% or more.

If your grinding your own pork, try your hand at Brat burgers. Little twist on your regular pork burgers. Agreed, I enjoy them as well.

So I just made these and they're as good or better than my regular burgers. Thank you tons for this idea...never done it before. Regular rotation from here on. Amazing flavor.
