Looks like some good chicken.....
I need another shot at this as I used terrible gluten free breading of some sort.....I ate it becasue I eat meat but heavens.....its not the best.
The weather is turning to fall weather every day now instead of hot then cold.....I get 4 months of crap weather....soon....

Try yellow tag leg quarters! Then make them boneless but keep the skin on!

So you marinated in buttermilk, S&P, and smoked paprika for half a day. I assume you then let them drip dry before dredging in
Fryin' Magic Seasoned Coating?
Yep, I dumped them in a plastic colander and let them drain.
I have a big Rubbermaid tub with lid that I add the breading and toss the chicken in,
Works well.
