I have been going back to when things started or atleast to what are the beginning threds here on this section barbeque and learning a LOT .

You see were the things we use now were first talked about like the Minion method and other things . From of course Cris and Jim minion and may others . Right now there are 490 pages I read a few a night . for those that haven't done this and were not here back then like myself I highly recomend this .

I hope this stuf is being saved it is a gem for us to look back on and see the roots of this forum Cris has just done a wonderful job keeping this fourum for us to learn from a exchange ideas .

I have to say, I've looked through the back pages some myself and it is really a wealth of info - especially for those of us who are newer. And not only is it interesting reading - it's a heck of a reference. Almost every thread has some little tidbit or technique that I wouldn't have considered otherwise.

I've done that some myself.
Funny thing though, a thread will have a link to another thread, etc, etc, and before I know it there's about 6 or more windows open!
 
I'm a re-reader.

I've had to catch myself starting to reply to a post and then realizing it was posted in 2005!

That is a great idea specialy the no comment thing as like Travis I have caught myself about to reply to 10 yr old thread also .
