Very informative cook and best of all a complete success! I'll be doing a 8 lb butt shortly thought about doing it on my performer with the snake method to see how that works think I’ll try it without the bricks for a little more room for the snake. Only done a 4.5 lb butt on the mini I'm not sure the mini can handle the ash load of a big butt cook. With the mini I always use the minion method and it always works great. So this will be a new adventure for me also.
