Smothered chicken tacos

I asked Kim what she wanted for dinner and she said she wanted the chicken tacos I made a couple of months ago so here it is. The recipe is from Rick Bayless.
With all the fresh ingredients it's easy to see why these taste so good.

Making Tony R's refried bean recipe. Also made Tony R's rice recipe but in all the madness didn't get a pic of the rice.

The tacos were excellent. Hope you like them and have a great week!

 Looks delicious. I was telling myself today I have to make chicken tacos soon!

I see the Rick Bayless book in the background, it is a good one! We visited his restaurant here in L.A. and it was pretty darn good upscale Mexican food.

As for the Negra Modela - good pick!

Rob as soon as I saw your first pic I felt right at home my friend, something about that style of cooking just does it for me. Your plate looks fabulous
