I stopped at a farmers market today to pick up some goodies. I grabbed some tomatoes, corn and zuccini. I need some protein for dinner so I decided to make some shrimp. I cleaned up some 26-30s but left the shells on because we're gonna smoke 'em. Seasoned them up with some olive oil and Arizona Dreaming:

Let those sit for a bit and fired up a chimney of KB:

Half stayed in the Performer, half went in the WSM. Put the shrimp on the WSM with some pecan wood:

Added the corn which was soaked in water for 15 minutes to the Performer:

Checked on the shrimp after about 15 minutes and flipped. Check out that color:

Threw on the zuke which was seasoned with Northwoods:

Pulled the shrimp from the WSM and threw them on a hot gasser for 1 minute to crisp the shell so they were easier to peel. Plated them up with the corn, zukes and a tomatoe basil salad. These fresh tomatoes were unbelievable. I didn't miss having a starch because the fresh vegetables were so darn good.

The shrimp was excellent. Great smokey flavor but not over powering. Next time I will try to find some bigger shrimp. Nothing better than fresh veggies.
Thanks for looking!
