I always forget to check in here before I smoke on WSM Smoke Day, but I started a butt this morning at about 7:30, coated with spicy brown mustard and Stubb's dry rub. I mopped it with apple juice at about 1:00. Pulled it off the smoker at 6 and put it in a cooler. We pulled it and ate it at about 7. It was delicious! This is always one of my favorite weekends of the year. I'm not sure who started the "work yourself to death in the yard" tradition but we always do that and then I smoke something on Sunday or Monday. I hope everybody else's smoke turned out as good as mine. We almost starved the neighborhood to death with the smell of bbq in the breeze.
