How long can you leave butts and brisket in the refrigerator? Trying to decide if I should get the meat this Sunday or next Thursday.

Will be smoke Friday night.

If they be in cryovac at least a couple of weeks in the cold part of a fridge.

Wow, that's a long time.

After hitting RD, and speaking with a packer, he schooled me on "dwell date" or something along those lines. He said I have a good half a month on these meats.

got a 17lb CAB, a 20lb butt (2 pack) and another 18lb pack. Should be plenty to go around.
