smoke fever!

Okay, i just took the plunge this summer into the whole "smoking scene." Anyone else find that they enjoy food smoked on the WSM so much that merely grilling food just doesn't cut it? Really seems like I've lost any & all desire to grill anymore...

I like them all Frank, grilling, about 90% charcoal and smoking too. Usually I combine the two with wood smoking on the grill. It's all good if you have fun and make some Good Eats as my man Alton would say
 
I like em all as well. Last week did both for a party....smoked ribs and grilled chicken under a brick which is my latest craze.
 
Anything cooked outside is what I enjoy. Put on some tunes, pour a drink, start a fire, it's all good my man.

Frank, the same thing happened to me when I got my WSM. I think I did at least 6-8 smokes and never touched my kettle. However, things have changed since then - I find I'm using my kettle more than the WSM. But I need to tell you that everything I do over open flame is just for my wife and me...if more people were involved in consuming my food, the WSM would probably come back out to play!
 
Frank, While we still use both, what did drastically change is which BBQ restaurants we'll even step foot in. Just a very select few.
 
If it was just me i'd smoke on my wsm daily. But my wife doesn't like the taste of smoke that much so I use my kettle more than my WSM.
