small butt?

Usually I cook about 6-8 lb butts, today I am doing a 2 3lb'ers. Anything I should know different (other than time)? Will it dry out because it is smaller?

Thanks!

I've never had a butt dry out regardless of size due to all the fat in it. I'd do it my normal way without a second thought. Though I rarely wrap, if you are concerned, wrapping it in foil when it hits the stall should trap steam and keep it moist.

I cut up a 5 lb butt into 4 pieces last week and they came out great. I did wrap them in foil for at least an hour AFTER they were done and put them in a cooler to rest. Not dry at all so you should be good. One thing I learned, more pieces = more bark, yum
