Slight rebuild of the performer

Don’t post much but thought I’d try.
My performer maybe 7 or 8 years old was getting tired. I replaced a few things, bottom wire grate, end plastic stabilizers, little fan thing to dump ash, charcoal grate, and grilling surface. I’m not that handy so doing the project without swearing was a feat! I’m going to replace a messed up wheel then good to go.

I suppose I should really give a good “tune up” to both kettles in the “Overperformer“ have not replaced sweeps in the 22 in over ten years, have not needed to really but, a GOOD cleaning should happen this spring but, that might not necessarily happen right away. We shall see. With a little luck the air won’t get too “Blue” when I do it. I’m not always the most “handy” guy on the planet.
Good for you getting it done without too much frustration!
