Finally got around to using Harry’s all purpose jD rub, holy crap was it some amazing chicken. I’ve been on a boneless breast run lately for adding to salads and I have to say something awesome is going on in there. My palette sucks so I don’t know what it was that stood out so much but the family LOVED it, I’m making it again tomorrow to make sure it wasn’t a fluke.

Hmmm. Will look into this. Harry Soo was so nice when we cooked together. And I need to replace the weber kickin chicken. Kick it down a notch. Now I found a use for it. Pour on rice and stuff.

There are DIY versions of Harry's All-Purpose Rub and Sauce that you can make and try, recipes that he has provided in the past. They are not the same of the retail versions, however.

Going to do a couple butts this weekend and I’m using Harry’s all purpose on one. The other is a surprise and an odd one for sure.
 
Interesting, did he just change packaging? I typically purchase his rubs at the woodshed but may try to make my own soon.
