Simple Green BBQ Cleaner

Picked up a can at Home Depot for $5 and thought I'd give it a try. I prefer to use a non-toxic product when cleaning outside because of my dog. My water pan in my WSM was really gunked up from poor foiling.

Sprayed it on (think Scrubbin Bubbles) and let sit out of the sun for about 15 minutes. Scrubbed with a scotch-Brite pad and then hosed out. That got 90% of the gunk. Resprayed and let sit again. Scrubbed once more with the Scotch-Brite.Removed probably 99% of the previous gunk. A couple very small spots remain, but I'm just not that OCD.

Good product for routine cleaning. I tried it on my never ever cleaned 10 year old OTG and it pulled off a lot of gunk, but a large amount remained. It's not a miracle product, but those with backyard buddies it's worth a try.

Thanks for the revue. I have two inquisitive dogs and one will eat anything that won't eat her first. So I also always look for pet safe products to use in the backyard.
