i ordered four pork steaks from local Harry Hansen's Meat Service five miles from my home in Raymond, Wisconsin.
asked to have them cut 1 to 1 and one half inches, i got four 1 and one half inch pork steaks. froze two, cook two.
seasoned them with Penzey's BBQ3000 and Blues Hog rub.
Used the Weber 26" OTG fueled by Kingsford.
On the kettle at 430pm and sauced off at 645pm cooked indirect at about 300º to 350ºF with Hickory Country hickory wood chunks.
Once the 38 millimeter pork steaks were done, i brushed on some Maull's Kansas City style barbecue sauce then cooked a few more minutes each side.
Served deliciously with sautéed baby carrots and Dean's Iron Skillet Baked Potatoes.
believe it if you like, there were leftovers and that is what's for dinner tonight, along with Roadside sticks & thighs from earlier this week.
Hope your LO's are as good, thanks for visiting...
