On my silver C the bottom shelf(rack) I want to redo , I am thinking of using angle aluminum angle or z channel and then installing composite wood spaced to drain water,but mostly dust here... I have seen it done on here on some really nice rebuilds and I think it would be a great touch to my old "C"

I always wondered about the compatibility of those racks.The early b & c wire racks could be used on x000s, they would just be a half inch short on both ends
