should I buy a WSM 18 for $60 ?

if I were to add a WSM18 to my stable, what would it do better, or different from the other grills I already have in my sig.

I will be candid, my BGE and Silver B are keepers forever, but the PB 820 is going to wear out.

talk me into or out of getting one?

Cost isn't really the issue. I don't need it. The drive time is about 2 hrs round trip.

Gas to get there is probably $30 at current Kalifornia gas prices.

What cooks would do better on the WSM vs the pellet or the BGE?

I'm not trolling, or trying to start a flame war ( maybe a smoke war? ) but I read alot of cool things about the WSMs and saw this one pop up for what looks to be a bargain.

edit: I have a smoke x4 + billows for temp control...

Obviously too late now, but for next time, yes. For $60 for sure, but honestly, you can do everything on your BGE that you can do on the WSM, in my opinion. All depends on how much space, time, money, and desire to experiment that you have if you want a variety of grills.

As Lewis said buy it for one great reason. For 60.00 plus gas to go get it, you have a cheap learning tool to see if the WSM is right for you. If not flip it for what you paid for it nothing lost experience gained.
