I've got them ready to go, just message me and we'll get the ball rolling. Those look fantastic! I think I’ll also save my new wheels and follow your lead. I’d love to buy a few sets of your whitewalls.

@Josh Dekubber, One wide and three regular sets of @Steve Hoch whitewalls inbound! I'm really looking forward to getting these! With an endorsement like that there's no way I'll look elsewhere for whitewalls.

So, my CO buddy that picked up the red Junior for me was at a client’s house today and saw this nice green 1000 in the guy’s backyard. My buddy tells him about picking up Junior for me last Friday, my love for vintage Weber grills, and membership in our little cult. The guy says he just got a new grill and didn’t know what he was going to do with this old one… that my buddy was welcome to take it for me. It’s now in my buddy’s garage next to Junior!!My buddy in Denver was finally able to pick it up. Safely in hand and on it's way to his garage. Now to get it from CO to TX.

My current Silver C runs NG so I was very happy to see it has an OEM NG manifold. That's an excellent restoration grill! It's a natural gas grill but that could be good depending on what you want or can easily be changed to propane.

That color is stunning. It looks close to an aquamarine on my iPhone.I have a couple green Genesis 1000 LX grills.
This one is one of my favorite grills and my other one is still unrestored and I cook on it regularly.

I agree. Your woodworking skills are top notch but I do like the durawood with certain lid color combos.I generally like real wood a lot better than the durawood but I like the Gray durawood with the green lid. I think that combination looks really nice.
That’s gorgeous. If I’m ever in WA we’ll have to meet up. I’d love to see where you make the magic happen. It's a really really cool green in my opinion. Most pictures don't do it justice. You have to catch it in the right light or in person.View attachment 122931
I wish I could say I had a really nice big shop to do my work in but it's just a two-car garage that I use half of in my spare time. That’s gorgeous. If I’m ever in WA we’ll have to meet up. I’d love to see where you make the magic happen.
I also have only a two-car garage. One car and a bunch of stuff I need to cull to make room for all the grills I've recently accumulated and want to work on. My wife wants to move to a smaller house. If we do I'll make sure to have a shop.I wish I could say I had a really nice big shop to do my work in but it's just a two-car garage that I use half of in my spare time.
If the wife is on board with the grill hobby, that’s a big plus!I also have only a two-car garage. I think she’ll be fine as long as the patio doesn’t get so congested she can’t reach her herb planter boxes! If the wife is on board with the grill hobby, that’s a big plus!
I’ll be reaching out to friends with shops and I’m considering a self storage unit for the short term. I certainly don’t want to pay for storage long term. Should be able to fit a couple in my garage once I get it cleared out and organized.PFFFF. That is just a matter of time. Start finding a better hiding spot for your grills now because the herd is bound to grow.
