Saying Hey from Maryland

I got a 18.5" WSM for my birthday a couple of weeks ago, and have enjoyed it the last couple of weekends. I used a Brinkmann bullet smoker for close to 20 years, before it finally fell apart a couple of years ago. As you can imagine it was well seasoned on the inside. In 2012 I bought the electric Brinkmann, and while I loved the convenience, it just didn't have the flavor I enjoyed from charcoal. So I sold the Brinkmann, and bought the WSM. Oh my what a difference! Once I learn to better control the temperature, I'll be dangerous. Yesterday was my first attempt at a Boson Butt, and the results were great. My next challenge is going to be a brisket.
