Saturday was Fathers Day

At least it seemed like it. After watching me every week, my son decided to have a shot at BBQ. He picked up some BBR's and asked if I would "hang around" just to be sure everything went okay.

Rubbed and ready to go....

As usual, Buddy was there to help....

My son buttered him up by giving him a new toy/pool...

4-1/2 hours later, they were done. One with sauce, one without....

We fired up the Performer for the side dishes....

It was a good day. The weather was hot, the beer was cold, the food was good and my son made it feel like Fathers Day.
