Saturday Night Comfort Food

Woke up today with hankering for meatloaf. Hadn't made one on my new performer so I thought today was a good time to fire it up and give it a try. Started with 3lbs 80/20 and 1lb. sweet Italian sausage. Covered that badboy with 3/4lb bacon. Full chimney KBB indirect and on the grill it went...the pics tell the rest of the story. Enjoy

35 minutes later, time to rotate.



1:15 hit 160 degree...time to let Mr. Loaf rest

Plated with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and sweet corn with homemade portabella mushroom gravy, along side a fine winter brew....
