Salmon Jerky

Was recently in Austin, TX and at their Whole Foods I had some awesome smoked salmon. While I enjoyed the regular smoked salmon what I really liked was the salmon jerky. So I went out today and bought a fillet and was wondering if anyone has attempted salmon jerky. I would imagine I should brine/cure it slice into little nuggets and try and keep the wsm at as low a temp as I can keep it. Thoughts?
