Sad Time Of Year

Phil Perrin

TVWBB Hall of Fame
Today is 12 years since our son lost his battle with testicular cancer
He DID send us a sign that he's in a better place, so we don't have to worry about him.
Still miss the heck out of him.
You younger guys and parents of young men, testicular cancer is the number one cancer in young men aged 13-30.
The thing is, it's easily detectable and treatable!
Make sure that they do the monthly check.
!

May God continue to strengthen and guide you and your family, Phil. I'm certain your Son would ask for nothing more than for you to continue living a good and faithful life so that you can be reunited.

My heart goes out to you and your family...I just lost my youngest son Matthew in October and My heart is shattered
Our thoughts and prayers with you and your family.
It sucks bad, but it will get better.
I can’t give you a timeline for that, but it will.

Definitely sending out prayers. I had no idea about how prevalent that it was. I knew about it just not to that degree.

I can't imagine what that is like. And I'm sure nothing I can say will help. Just know that I feel for you.

When my brother passed to the larger life, my wife (in her wisdom) told me that “It doesn’t get better just different.”
That’s gotten my through his death and both my parents.
It does not get better, just different, every day.
