I don't know why anyone would buy these sad beef ribs @luckysupermarkets for $2.49/lb. I know not everyone is a @costco member, but look at these happy beef ribs for $3.99/lb. No comparison!

Yeah, those sad ones look more like soup bones than actual ribs.

I looked at those yesterday and almost bought some. I've never done them on my bullet.
Are they good and meaty? Is one end of the rack better than another? Really thinking about stopping back buy to grab some.

For the most part where Barb works (Safeway) their meat is pretty decent and with Barb knowing the butchers we get some fantastic cuts.
If she asks for short ribs, they are really meaty.
But they also have sales on shiner ribs also like the bad ones shown. When they are on sale Barb says they just fly out of the store, go figure.

Me too. I'm not sure when I will cook them either. Maybe Labor Day weekend. Maybe college football opening day.
FWIW, I wouldn't buy that pack from Lucky. I have bought a few things from Lucky that were super deals, but not that one.
