RSC, longer marinade time

The recipe says marinade two hours.
Has anyone gone for a long marinade time, say six hours, thats my plan, would that be too long
and maybe taste differently, done rsc several times but need to know if it would taste differently if marinded for longer than two hours?
 
You'll get a little more intense vinegar flavour but not much and the spices get more chance to flavour the meat. I marinade my Cornell chicken for 6 hours all the time.
 
I just marinated Cornell chicken for 24 hours and it was AWESOME...I would imagine roadside would be fine as well for 6 or longer
 
That marinade is pretty acidic. Consequently, you do need to be careful about time. I've gone 12 hours and while it tasted good there was a change in the texture of the chicken.
