I am not a coal burner, but I have seen Royal Oak mentioned as a quality product. And I don't know if the price is all that good, but

That is a very good price....RO is probably banking on the fact that almost no one goes through the trouble of filling out those mail-in rebates.

Well, I am assuming that like a lot of guys on this list, if it is a good product at a great price, they will buy in bulk and be sure to send in the rebate. I think there is a limit of ten bags, but I do think you can have your wife, son, daughter, etc.... grab ten bags and pay for them separately.

Royal Oak and Menards have a very good relationship.
They use to sell the RO lump in green bags exclusively for Menards where everywhere else had red bags.
I used RO lump and briqs for quite a long time, it was good stuff, but varies state to state.

They still have RO Lump, but not on sale:

Costco today.
Charcoal and pellets.
Seems two types of charcoal.

Yep, two kinds of charcoal, Kpro and Kirkland (this is regular price for the Kirkland), I have not found the Kirkland bad at all. Good for kettle work, have not done a WSM cook with it yet, was planning that for this weekend but, I’m not sure what’s happening right now. It might just have to happen later. Too many irons in the fire right now.
