Lots of great cook posts on here since I've been chillin' and grillin' with my grandson and family in Illinois for a couple of days.
I'll try to check them all out tomorrow, but in the meantime, I just had to post tonight's cook, subtitled:
"I need some veggies in me after all that meat, and there ain't no one home but me."

Started with some fried bacon.

Rinsed, and drained/dried a head of cut in half romaine.
Applied some evoo, salt and pepper.

Grilled it.

Cut out and snacked on a few of the inner leaves to make a boat.
Added some cheese, baby tomatoes, bacon, and a few dribbles of ranch dressing.
Then devoured it without benefit of a knife and fork.
Home alone, remember?

Great stuff, no stinkin' bread needed!

I've got to recoup from so much fun with the boys.
Here I am taking my step-grandson for a ride.

Hope everyone has a great Weber Weekend!

yeah.... knives & forks and bread are highly overrated...
now, your salad boat btl is completely over the edge! only thing missing is ME IN FRONT OF IT!

Love that salad B0b! Was way to long since i had some grilled romaine. And with the bacon and cheese...Superb.

Enjoy the ride!

You know a guy loves his grill and food when he makes something amazing like that dinner just for himself! Great dinner Bob.
