James your cook of the Bayless chicken looks tasty, but the real Roadside Chicken recipe from Bryan S has been a staple on this forum for years.
Personally, I don't think that Rick Bayless is not entitled to use the name, as his method is not in the spirit of the original. Bryan S is the
king of Roadside chicken in my mind. Rick's Citrus Chicken would be a more appropriate name for his recipe. With that said, it would be interesting
to make a batch of each and see the peoples choice. Then again, what do I know, as I think that chicken fried in peanut oil in a cast iron pan over
the coals is the best.
