What road trips have you been on recently?

We took an extended trip thru Utah and Colorado this past September and it was...amazing.

We've been to Sedona a couple of times - each one had fantastic views. It can be a bit busy driving, but if you time it right the rewards are amazing!

We arrived early.
When we left around noonish there was a traffic jam several miles long just waiting to get into town.
Thankfully we went with some friends from Scottsdale that knew about the traffic situation.

I'll road trip at the drop of a hat. And a very small hat at that. Perhaps there may be a cat in that hat, I don't know. I do not know, Sam I Am. I do not eat small cats and ham.

I'd have to say that on our most recent road trip thru Utah and Colorado, the best place we ate at was The Goat And Clover Tavern in Grand Junction. British and Irish themed. I had a shepherd's pie that was absolutely delicious!

Was in Blacksburg for the weekend to attend the VA Tech game Friday night. Awesome entrance, which was preceded by skydivers into the stadium.

Standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona...we've all heard the song by the Eagles.

We planned a trip to stay there for a night on a Southwest Road Trip on Route 66.

Yes...there is a flat bed Ford on the corner.

I had that truck when I was first married.
Mine was a 1960 f-100 ford flatbed with no side panels.
I loved that truck.

We took a small road trip to the Hoh Rain Forest yesterday.
The moss on the trees is nice and all that but what really impressed me was the fishing & hunting situation.
There are some real monsters here and I can’t wait to spend a few days here.
